Gauze
Animation: Directed by Noran Fikri Alezabi, Nicholas Arujah, Xinyue Ma, Yulin Yue, Xiaonan Zhou (First-time filmmakers; France; Gobelins) 14-year-old Zain, a Palestinian swimming champion, faces war and man- made famine. He becomes the sole caregiver to his little brother. When aid drops into the sea, desperate for food, Zain is forced to swim—not for passion, but for survival.

🅿️ Parking
Not official — our suggestion: the free City lot at Sunset Center's North Lot, entered on 8th Ave between San Carlos & Mission (no time limit; about a 6-minute walk west on 8th to Monte Verde). Street parking around the theatre is free, but downtown blocks are posted 2-hour or 30-minute — read the sign. Vista Lobos (3rd Ave & Torres, free) is a backup, roughly 15–20 minutes on foot; no parking there 11:30pm–6am. The theatre has one accessible space out front on Monte Verde.
